One day, he was going to the locker room to take a shower and a fat man stopped him. This book shows the struggle and the development of Chances relationship with his father. At one point I actually had to check previous pages to verify that the author actually wanted us to believe the main character was a teenager. Chance was in mourning and stayed at Melissa’s house for a while. Hardcover , pages. He ran every day. He has an opportunity to live a life of luxury, but he chooses to keep proving himself and live on his own.
With an exciting plot and interesting characters, Runner will not allow you to put it down. This creates the illusion that the suspense is greater than it actually would have been without the great suspense. Three reasons that make my claim true are it has suspense, a lot of conflict, and relatable situations.
Chance really enjoyed running. Running runher calming for him, as it is for me too.
Runjer also really liked this book because the main character was a teenager and I was able to connect to his thoughts.
When I read the blurb, I immediately picked it up because it enticed me and the price was just so wonderful that I couldn’t leave it there.

This book is the story of a poor teenager, named Chance Taylor, living on a dinky little sailboat and who goes to a school filled with snotty rich kids. Oct 16, Micah rated it it was amazing. These links will automatically appear in your email. They also love the plot, especially sgnopsis twists at the end. I was moved by when the boat blew up with Chances dad was in the boat because after that everything was just so sad, and I felt like crying for the rest of the book the author did a good job in making us visualize the whole book by using great description of everything.

It’s just not that type of book darnit. The book intrigued me when Chance starts to make some really bad decisions that we have a great impact on him down the road. Apr 20, Tylor added it. I love to run as well. Terrorism, courage, money, an adolescent, what couldn’t be awesome? Interest is created on how they each view life.
Often, people make decisions based runnef what would help them the most in their current situation. It would have been nice to have gotten to know Chance and the other characters on a deeper level. One step from both homelessness and hunger, Chance worries about things other kids his age never give a thought: Cxrl blame my hormones but in the end, I felt the characters pain and I connected even more to the character.
