VERICHROME PAN 127 FILM PROCESSING

It did come out with beautiful grain but after 30 years I was expecting excessive grain and other defects. The rest of the recipe I had in mind was along the lines of the Patrick Gainer playbook With the VP, I don’t think you need to do anything particularly special with the development; it survives well and I think just developing as if it’s new is probably fine. I do not have any more Verichrome Pan that s unexposed, but I am thinking about taking my oldest one or two rolls of Kodachrome II expiration and processing it unexposed to see just how horrible the fog is. In going through his belongings we came across 6 rolls of Kodak Verichrome Pan and that had not been developed. Back the Lomogon 2. In conclusion, the Kodak Verichrome Pan film holds up to its reputation: K-II – 3 min at 20 deg C, fix 5 min K – 6 min at 20 deg C, fix 5 min K – 9 min at 20 deg C, fix 5 min I don’t put them in any remjet removal, I just rub them off manually with my finger or with cloth after fixing and washing, it does put some remjet debris in my fixer though but they sink to the bottom anyhow and I strain the fixer afterwards with cloth and it doesn’t seem to affect the films I develop after, on the cleaning side of things I admit I am a bit crude, so if there is a remjet removal process before developing I recommend do that first.

Did anything ever come of this? Fri Sep 26, 8: One of them is KodaColor. The problem is that you can have no idea how much to compensate other then by testing. My Father passed away recently. However, it takes film which is not easy to find. If the base fog goes up; old film must be exposed more; to get the image above the base fog.

If the film was frozen for 50 years after exposure; processsing the cosmic ray fog is the biggie. I tried to shoot a roll of film to see if you could get something out of it.

As stupid as this might sound, I actually thought it could be the spirit of the deceased that did not like the fact that I had taken a photo and was trying ppan ruin my roll to prevent it from getting developed I have a very fertile imagination.

Fri Sep 26, 8: I am OK with some damage, but would like to make the smartest choices for development to achieve the least fog. Thanks to all you Santas. So much so that we’ve experience very old film that has been mistakenly opened in the camera in full light and still have developed pictures from them with pxn apparent effect at all to the recent complete exposure.

Sep 13, Messages: I would suggest that you use a developer like D and agitate every seconds, whatever frequency yields agitation cycles total. You can get fresh film from Rollei and Efke in black and white and slide film. Point, shoot and pray. Search this thread only Search this forum only Display results as threads.

Have them develop one roll at a time; or even better do a snip test. I’ll have to find or modify a reel. I see no reason to send this to a lab. I’ve got 3 rolls of Verichrome pan VP film, and already exposing one, please give me any suggestions on choosing the right EI or exposure correction i should make.

For our young film photographer Caroline Dare, you are more than just a single shade or hue of a color. I’d like to try processing at least one roll myself before shipping them off to Rocky Mountain Labs. Mon Proecssing 27, I was the user. I have an unexposed Verichrome Pan roll that expired inwhich I’m wondering if would still yield results.

Process normally, I would be hesitant to try anything that would increase contrast at first without knowing 1227 extent of fog, as the fog itself can act as a contrast shift hindering your ability to print through the highlights. I live in San Diego, but I don’t mind shipping.
